What you will be doing:

You will be part of Keysight Laboratories (Labs). Keysight Labs is the forefront research department in the company. Our core mission is to develop groundbreaking solutions that will change the company. We are leading efforts to develop and advance test and measurement solutions in connection with the emerging 6G technologies.

Specifically, the efforts are collaborative European and Spanish research projects, where we are working with a wide range of partners to prove these new 6G technologies.

This is while developing the solutions and methodologies to meet the needs of 6G.

Your role will be to work with a range of AL/ML technologies to both realize the 6G vision and to be able to test, measure and validate these new technologies in the context of different scenarios.

Initially, you will work with concepts related to the O-RAN architecture and the Radio Intelligent Controller (RIC).

Afterward, these concepts will evolve into a more concrete architecture with new components and algorithms in the concept of 6G.

Your work will require understanding the telecommunication arena, especially around 5G and 6G; you will integrate well-known software libraries, Keysight software, and contributions from across the research projects to test new AI/ML models and measure their performance.

The main challenges will be (1) designing and developing some of these new components/algorithms and (2) designing and developing frameworks to test the AI/ML aspects, i.e.

, how do you test AI in the context of cellular networks in 5G and 6G?

Who are we looking for?:

Master's degree in computer science, AI, Telecommunication, or similar

- >3 years of experience in a similar role

A deep understanding of many AI/ML technologies
Experience with widely used AI frameworks, e.g., Tensorflow, Microsoft CNTK, Amazon ML, Torch
Handson experience with C++ development or C# development
Some knowledge of data analysis and visualization of results and metrics
Experience with Git versioning control (GitHub, Gitlab) and automation of development and build pipelines.
