About the job

The core of your role will be to develop, evaluate and deploy machine learning models that empower IOMED's methods to extract information from clinical text.

About you

You will be working in a very dynamic environment, which means that you must have a strong problem-solving ability, organization skills.

We are looking for a highly proactive and independent profile, who can contribute with their ideas and expertise to our team.

Our problems can be solved in many different ways; you must be able to ponder different possible approaches to choose the best one based on empirical data.

In terms of personality, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a wide range of areas and adapts quickly to new situations.

Tareas

Tasks

You will have to feel comfortable giving support to the rest of the team and you can definitely expect to:

Design Natural Language Processing solutions based on Deep Learning and LLMs to improve our system.
Evaluate different solutions empirically and implement the most appropriate ones.
Deploy the solutions into our system.
Design methods to continuously improve our tools.

Requisitos:

What we are looking for

Master's degree in mathematics, computer science or another relevant numerical/computational discipline; PhD will be preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Python, including relevant Deep Learning libraries, familiarity with Git, knowledge of SQL.
An analytical mindset and the ability to design empirical evaluation methods.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Experience in using LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
5 years of experience in a technical role and proven track record of successfully delivering machine learning projects.
