Job Description:

CHEP is currently hiring a new team member in Madrid, Spain.

We are looking for a skilled individual who is able to problem solve effectively, work cross-functionally, partner with senior stakeholders, and improve efficiency.

The role will report to the

Senior Manager:
Carrier Management. The International, Pallecon, and Customs Manager will manage the International, Pallecon Transport segment and will have full responsibility for Customs Management


Key Accountabilities:

  • Exceeding customer expectations through the research and development of valueadded transportation in the area of responsibility
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of improvement in the area of responsibility
  • Develop best in class transportation solution to ensure efficiency
  • Communicate and work effectively with all levels of the business in a matrix managed organization with the Regional Manager, Senior Manager and Directors.
  • Budget responsibilities on Project connected to the area of responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree (Logistics/Integrated Supply Chain Management or related field)
  • MBA/Masters (Advantageous)


  • Additional Certifications

  • Six Sigma/Scrum Master/Project Management (Advantageous)
  • 3 years of experience in International Environment Transport Management
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Experience in implementation of successful projects
  • Experience in Customs area

Languages:

  • English & Additional European Language
Preferred Education

Bachelors - Logistics Management

Preferred Level of Work Experience

  • 5 yearsHybrid Remote
