Job Description:

CHEP is currently hiring a new team member in Madrid, Spain.

We are looking for a skilled individual who is able to problem solve effectively, work cross-functionally, partner with senior stakeholders, and improve efficiency.

The role will report to the

Senior Manager:
Carrier Management. The International, Pallecon, and Customs Manager will manage the International, Pallecon Transport segment and will have full responsibility for Customs Management

Key Accountabilities:

Exceeding customer expectations through the research and development of valueadded transportation in the area of responsibility
Develop and coordinate implementation of improvement in the area of responsibility
Develop best in class transportation solution to ensure efficiency
Communicate and work effectively with all levels of the business in a matrix managed organization with the Regional Manager, Senior Manager and Directors.
Budget responsibilities on Project connected to the area of responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree (Logistics/Integrated Supply Chain Management or related field)
MBA/Masters (Advantageous)

Additional Certifications

Six Sigma/Scrum Master/Project Management (Advantageous)
3 years of experience in International Environment Transport Management
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Experience in implementation of successful projects
Experience in Customs area

Languages:

English & Additional European Language

Preferred Education

Bachelors - Logistics Management

Preferred Level of Work Experience

5 yearsHybrid Remote
