Acting as a part of our Safety team and working under framework of SMS, you will be responsible to control that instructors and students adhere to operating and occurrence reporting procedures, escalate safety issues and facilitate timely resolution of these.

We expect that you are proficient in a flight school operating environment and hold (or have held previously) pilot's license at least on a level of PPL, preferably with FI rating.

• Provide on-site assistance to Safety Manager performing SMS administration duties;
• Ensure timely collection and administration of the SMS related data and evidences;
• Facilitate submission and processing of occurrence reports and risk assessments;
• Provide assistance during followup and investigation of safetyrelated occurrences;
• Assist fostering of Positive Safety culture if the Flight Training base;
• Provide support for instructors and students on procedures in connection to SMS;
• Perform onsite inspections and audits as per defined checklists
• Working according to approved company processes
• Working with company's IT systems to monitor and ensure a smooth safety processes.
• Participating in daily meetings based on Lean principles
• Setting and achieving shortterm and longterm goals in accordance with the company's strategic goals
• Performing other duties and responsibilities assigned by direct manager

• Knowledge of SMS and risk management fundaments (we will give you required additional training);
• Genuine interest in General Aviation, and Flight Training School's operations in particular;
• PPL license as a minimum.
• Uses the English language at an effectively operational and independent level
• Spanish language is an advantage
• Extensive experience in similar role
• Has excellent skills in a Microsoft Office 365 environment or has basic conceptional computer literacy
• Is able to work independently and is selfmotivated and willing to take ownership
• Knows how to manage several complex projects at once
• Has analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Has willingness to share skills, knowledge and expertise
• Is flexible with good time management skills
• Has respectful and positive attitude
