Senior Product Applications EngineerThe team develops silicon technologies enabling the feature sets of today's high end consumer devices.
The role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of technology that is enabling how we live in today's technology driven world.
The technologies include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Actuator Control and Smart Audio.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Specification, design, and development of FPGA based platforms for presilicon product validation and evaluation
- Specification, design, and development of platforms for silicon product validation and evaluation
- Specification, design, and development of highlevel software for systemlevel product validation.
- Support internal teams and customers in the resolution of technical issues
- Generate customer facing documentation such as datasheets, specifications, user guides.
- Design, development, bench testing and debugging of electronic circuits
- Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Electronic & Computer Engineering or similar
- 3+ years semiconductor industry experience in a senior engineering role
- Strong knowledge of analog, digital and power circuit fundamentals
- Strong knowledge of systemlevel interIC interfacing and communications
- Knowledge of semiconductor development and validation process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work in a fastpaced collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to deconstruct and understand technical documentation
- Experience with schematic capture tools
- Python software development
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M embedded systems
- Experience with LabView software development
- Knowledge of requirements creation, traceability, and validation process
- FPGA development experience
