Digital Design Lead

The Group:

The Position:

Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of digital interfaces, subsystems, and general logic required to implement new products targeted at consumer electronics
  • Digital architecture, design, emulation, verification and general problem solving
  • Synthesis, Place and Route, STA, LEC, GLS
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure future products meet the demands of the market
  • Conducting technical presentations to ADI's internal engineering team and customers
  • Drive improvements in new product cycle time, design quality, design methodology and engineering productivity
  • Work closely with support organizations to ensure suitable design, verification, and emulation tools are available and utilized

Requirements:


  • M.S. or Ph.
D. Electronic Engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in Audio industry doing digital standard cell-based IC design using Verilog, synthesis tools, timing analysis, and physical verification tools

  • Expertise with Signal Processing concepts such as Digital Filters, Interpolation/Decimation, and Delta-Sigma Conversion
  • Experience with Matlab and Simulink
  • Track record of multiple products in volume production
  • Complete understanding of digital design flow
  • Familiarity with Cadence and Synopsys design tools
  • Experience with design for testability, scan insertion, scan pattern debugging
  • Experience debugging ICs and associated evaluation systems in a lab environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a cross functional team
  • Some limited travel should be expected
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with integration of microprocessors such as ARM and RISC-V MCU 8051 IDE
  • Versatile in communication protocols such as I2C and SPI
  • Experience with multiple power domains
  • Experience with clock domains, bus arbiter control
  • Knowledge of SRAM, ROM and Flash memory
  • Debug, DFT, Verification, Regression Testing skill
