Overview:


Global Alumni Relations provides engagement services, resources and benefits to our alumni network that consists of more than 65,000 alumni worldwide and liaises across the IE stakeholder map to ensure the community stays connected to each other and IE throughout their lifetime.

The team consists of staff members based in Madrid and shared resources in Europe, Middle East, U.S. and Asia‐Pacific that focus on alumni and careers.


The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for strengthening alumni engagement with young professionals, including undergraduate alumni, through the execution of a strategy that includes career-driven event concepts (professional networking, mentorship, etc.), targeted communications, and other features tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

This position will work closely with the Associate Director, Undergraduate Alumni Relations, in executing the strategy, monitoring its impact, and introducing updates or launching new concepts in response to evolving or emerging needs.

  • Provide starttoend event planning assistance including identifying and contacting potential speakers and/or mentors, securing event spaces, managing communications with attendees, and providing dayof operational support for inperson and online concepts
  • Draft targeted communications for the Undergraduate Alumni Newsletter, social media, and other channels
  • Generate content about young alumni through Alumni Stories and other communications tools including video
  • Assist with management of Undergraduate Alumni Ambassadors Program by sharing updates and planning opportunities for recognition
  • Research and track young alumni profiles to be considered for future speaker and mentor roles, Alumni Stories, and other opportunities
  • Contribute to the coordination and execution of prealumni engagement activities with current students designed to create awareness of Global Alumni Relations and ensure a smooth studentalumni transition

Requirements:


  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills in English and Spanish
  • Great networker and community builder with advanced customer service skills
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to interact and work with a wide variety of stakeholders in a multicultural environment
  • Proactivity, reliability, and ability to advance tasks independently
  • Proficient Microsoft user + Dynamics 365 CRM desired
