Associate Director to join its team

temporary full-time position based in Madrid - IE Tower.


Responsibilities:


Your role as an Associate Director
will involve:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and coordination of the "Family in Business Journey," a journey designed to help family in business students at IE to add value to their families in businesses in the various roles they may play.
  • Support ongoing research projects and contribute to academic initiatives within the Center.
  • Develop proposals for new courses, programs and initiatives led by the Center.
  • Collaborate with the Family Business Club on events and activities for students.
  • Enhance the visibility of the Center within the IE ecosystem.
  • Foster a sense of community among IE family in business students.
  • Promote the Center ́s activities and disseminate its research findings through events, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders within the IE ecosystem to create synergies and improve the overall experience of IE family in business students.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with family businesses, industry leaders, and other relevant organizations to support research and enrich the student experience.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications**:

  • A Master's degree from a top-ranked university is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 35 years of relevant experience, ideally in the higher education sector.
  • Solid communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • International professional experience and exposure to working in multicultural teams.
