As a humble family business that started 70 years ago, popularly known as AMW now a fully-owned subsidiary of Al Futtaim Group (AFG) of United Arab Emirates, is one of the pioneers in the Automotive industry in Sri Lanka.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed a degree in marketing, business management or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Possess good communication skills in both Sinhala and English. Fluency in Tamil would be an added advantage.
  • Possess good problem solving and analytical skills with ability to work under pressure.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan to expand the customer base of the company and ensure its strong presence in the market.
  • Achieve the set volume and revenue targets in designated area by regularly visiting the market and promoting products to existing and new customers.
  • Follow up with customers, collect market debt, and regularize the collection cycles.
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Monitor deliveries and report on risk accounts.
  • Ensure availability of new and existing product range in retail customer groups.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition status.
