What is the Data Science team doing?

Our Data Science teams leverage computational and machine learning methods to find insights into data, propose data-driven strategic solutions, enhance and automate existing processes, and provide better services.

The versatility of our solutions allows us to support different business domains, from pricing to search and customer experience.

Nevertheless, our teams are centralized under a unified community and practice based on collaboration, permanently animated by knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and continuous learning events

Key responsibilities:

Serving as a representative for your team when communicating with product managers, other teams and other stakeholders on an entrusted project.
Helping your team members make technical decisions and you share your technical expertise regularly. As a senior, you help establish best practices and modern software development techniques to learn, build and scale data science solutions.
Collaborating with the business to design and develop solutions that effectively solve business problems on an entrusted project.
Possessing strong communication skills to articulate how problems can be solved using a datadriven approach.

Technical/Professional qualification:

A proven track record in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Strong expertise in statistics, machine learning, data science, and data mining.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, and SQL. Experience with git.
Understanding / previous experience on recommender problems.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
Experience with deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
English level on communicative and written level (min B2/C1).

Nice to have:

Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Ability to design, implement and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
Understanding of distributed computing architectures and algorithms.

Methodological work & problem solving.
Positive attitude, energy.
