Wharton, FounderNest is a gen-AI company in stealth mode that helps _(today but with huge potential expansion opportunities)_ corporations in the world improve and streamline their market intelligence processes, including (for their spaces of interest): (1) helping them understand the taxonomy and dynamics of the space, (2) mapping out all the players, (3) getting unique insights about the space (e.g.

growth rate, investment activity); and (4) tracking what their competitors are doing.

Our core technology is built on real-time analytics running on private and public company data.

This fuels our Natural Language Processing AI with +60M companies and +1.2B aggregated data points, allowing us to be 3x-5x better than alternatives.

‍ What you will do
:

You'll provide technical insights during problem definition and solution ideation to help the team come up with a Lean version of the solution.
You'll be
datainformed by creating and consuming insights about the business, the users and our systems.
You'll use the insights you gathered from your Lean solution to keep iterating it, making it more reliable, with higher performance or more scalable.
You'll work within a
crossfunctional team alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers to
deliver highquality products that exceed customer expectations.

Note that this is a fully remote position
based in Europe.

Our tech stack:

We use (depending whether the project is Frontend or Backend) Typescript, Postgres, MongoDB, Remix, Prisma, Testing Library, Docker, RabbitMQ.
We have our CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab.
We deploy in Kubernetes on AWS multiple times per day.
We use New Relic as an allinone observability platform.

What you will bring:

You thrive in a team environment, working seamlessly with other highly talented individuals from diverse backgrounds. You have a
track record of collaborating with crossfunctional teams, comfortable proposing technical solutions and skilled at communicating effectively complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Even though you are more experienced with Backend technologies, you are able (or want to learn) to be effective in other areas such as Frontend, Infra or Data Engineering, because you are a Tshaped Engineer.
You are an
autonomous and fast learner, always eager to expand your knowledge and skill set.
Professional proficiency in
English.

Bonus Points:

Experience in one or several startups, ideally in the growth phase, and enjoy working in fastpaced Engineering teams.
Experience working in
eXtreme Programming teams. You have seen the benefits of practices such as TDD, small and frequent releases or pair programming.
You have a
great product sense and you use it along with your technical expertise to add value to our users.
You have experience doing
product discovery, not just delivering features
You see the software you create as a way of generating value for our users, not as an end.
Professional proficiency in
Spanish.
