Job Purpose:


To ensure that the condition of all cinemas within the territories are adequately maintained with regard to employee and guest safety, the guest's cinema going-experience and the long-term value of the cinema as an asset to the company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop Business plan and strategic framework for Cinema Services function across the territory.
  • Drive delivery of the business plan supported by team and crossfunctional colleagues.
  • Provide a test and learn environment and process to support trial, signoff and implementation of new products and concepts.
  • Ensure Quarterly Business Reviews are held to maximise key supplier relationships where appropriate.
  • Propose and manage Annual programme of Capex developments.
  • Make sure Capex budget are spent but not overspent.
  • Support learning across Odeon territories to maximise group potential.
  • Develop and maintain a process for effective cinema maintenance visits to assure buildings and S&P are in a good shape.
  • Provide support to the local teams.
  • Develop a training culture on facilities and S&P to cover the territory needs.
  • Lead the energy consumption work for a more responsible CSR approach.
  • Be the clear link between Territory and Group on Facilities, S&P as well as a close line to the Real Estate and Construction team.
  • To contribute to the Company's success by suggesting ideas and encouraging the development of uniform Best Practice in the areas of cinema maintenance and operating efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with group and local suppliers.
  • Ensure the safety of employees and customers in compliance with company standards, Health and Safety legislation and any other legal requirement.

Requirements:

-
Experience: 5-7 years in a similar role in cinema, retail, or hospitality. Experience with large-scale facilities, maintenance, and Capex projects.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to lead and motivate teams and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Proven skills in developing and implementing strategic plans, proactive and effective problem-solving abilities.

Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing an exceptional cinema experience.

Organization: Strong project management and organizational skills.

Language Skills: Fluent in English. Proficiency in one of local language Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or German.

Travel: Willing to travel across the territory.

Others: Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance. Familiarity with facilities management software. Commitment to sustainability and responsible energy use. Passionate for of cinema industry
