In order to complete our

Direct to Consumers, Ecommerce Department, we are currently looking for a

Business Analyst.

In this position, you will be part of the

D2C eCommerce Product Team, managing ecommerce software development, operations, and support for some of the Nestlé ́s leading brands.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the ecommerce delivery, being part of a squad, working with a product owner on new features delivery
  • Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
  • Document training materials for the product area.
  • Consult & advise stakeholders on best practices and solutions to influence the success of potential projects.
  • Deliver training to the end users, deployment and support teams.
  • Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value.
  • Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) and roadmap that satisfies the business need.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
  • Act as a Product Owner, collaborate with internal team, our vendors and system integrator partners to deliver the product evolution roadmap to our endusers
  • Benchmark eCommerce tools available on the market
  • Collaborate with QA and Support Team to ensure delivery quality
  • Providing expertise and consulting to Nestle brands on eCommerce platforms, functionalities, tools, processes
  • Develop prototypes or POCs for proving out new technology and validating usecases that the team considers important to our endstate architecture.
  • Liaise with the security team to consult on security requirements and processes.
  • Conduct internal compliance processes for Cloud Compliance, Vendor Management, Procurement

Minimum qualifications:


  • Magento 1.X and Magento 2.X, Adobe Commerce strong handson experience (in Omni-Channel context)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; M.B.A. preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a eCommerce/ Omnichannel business and previous experience as analyst
  • First project management experience or product management experience
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
  • Experience working in an eCommerce delivery team, using agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams is a plus
  • Good understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
  • Experience developing websites, backend integrations
  • Familiarity with PHP 4/5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and other JS frameworks
  • Good understanding of Web Analytics and SEO techniques
  • Understanding of UX/ UI design
  • Responsive web development techniques
  • Clientfacing communication skills, including online and inperson presentations
  • Ability to adapt and pick up new technologies
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
