Four our Generator Breaker Switchgear Center of Competence located in Spain we are looking for a Sales Engineer for Western Europe region.
What are my responsibilities?
- Identification and evaluation of business opportunities from early project phase to final purchase phase
- Technical offer presentation to customers of assigned countries and Sales support during contract negotiation
- Cross functional collaboration with Regional Sales, Engineering, Product Development, Service
- Main contact for Generator Breaker Switchgears for the assigned countries.
- Offer preparation: responsible for technical and commercial Head Quarters offers (selfcountry) including Commercial offer preparation and Wall to Wall calculation.
- Establish, maintain and improve customer relationship
- Increase market awareness e.g. through participation on exhibitions and customer days
- Ensure market intelligence and business forecasts through effective customer communication
- Project tracking and reporting in SIE Sales (Salesforce) and other internal databases.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Degree in electrical/ mechanical / energy / business engineering or comparable
- Strong technical indepth knowledge about of functionality of Medium Voltage switchgear as part of a power distribution solution
- Proven track record of successful dealing with EPCs, consultants and Utilities
- Additionally high knowledge of low voltage equipment, business administration & account management
- You are innovative, outgoing and open to new ideas and a changing work environment in a fast growing organization
- Able to work independently
- A high willingness to travel within Western Europe will be expected
- Business fluent speaking and writing skills in Spanish and English are compulsory for this position. Other European languages such as Italian, German or French would be an advantage.
- You possess excellent presentation & communications skills
- Being familiar with MS Office, Salesforce and OGT would be an advantage.
