DESCRIPTION:


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloudbased resources
  • Design, implement, and manage data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and networks
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, and other networking devices
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance issues, proactively identifying and resolving problems
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
  • Develop and maintain system and network documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise to other team members as needed
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the IT environment remains current and competitive

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel

NICE TO HAVE

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly desirable
  • Experience as a Tshaped engineer, possessing deep expertise in your core domain while also demonstrating versatility across multiple areas of IT
  • Proficient in German, both written and spoken
