DESCRIPTION:

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloudbased resources
Design, implement, and manage data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and networks
Configure and manage routers, switches, and other networking devices
Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance issues, proactively identifying and resolving problems
Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
Develop and maintain system and network documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures
Provide guidance and technical expertise to other team members as needed
Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the IT environment remains current and competitive

WHAT YOU HAVE

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel

NICE TO HAVE

Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly desirable
Experience as a Tshaped engineer, possessing deep expertise in your core domain while also demonstrating versatility across multiple areas of IT
Proficient in German, both written and spoken
