Overview:

General Responsibility


As Data Architect, or Data Systems Architect, you will be responsible for developing and delivering AWS cloud solutions to meet today's high demand in areas such as IoT, advanced analytics, enterprise collaboration, microservices..

being responsible for delivering Cloud based Big Data and Analytical Solutions in the company.


Also, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models into the Corporate Data Warehouse.


Responsibilities:


Specific Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs to technical specifications.
  • Solution/technical architecture in the cloud.
  • Big Data/analytics/information analysis/database management in the cloud.
  • Define logical and physical data models.
  • Analyze transaction errors and troubleshooting issues.
  • Getting involved in performance tuning efforts.
  • Perform validation and testing of developments to ensure quality.
  • Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions.
  • Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.
  • Identifying areas for improvement in current systems.
  • Auditing database regularly to maintain quality.
  • Develop and execute database queries.
  • Create technical documentation.

Qualifications:

Requirements and personal skills

  • Sound experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Work alongside customers to build data management platforms using Elastic Map Reduce (EMR), Redshift, Kinesis, Amazon Machine Learning, Amazon Athena, Lake Formation, S3, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, ElastiCache and the Relational Database Service (RDS)
  • Lead and assist in providing oversight into the design of endtoend data solutions including data architecture, data integration, data modeling, security, privacy, regulatory, performance
  • Extensive handson experience implementing data migration and data processing using Cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse design.
  • ETL development experience (SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter ).
  • Use of versioning tools such as Git.
  • Use of tools for infrastructure such as Terraform.
  • Improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing.
  • Problemsolving aptitude.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
  • Knowledge in business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Qlik Sense, MicroStrategy, KNIME).
