Two red lines

Hi beBee friends!

I would like to thank you for cheering me up when I wrote my first post! You guys are awesome! Please let me know if I make a grammar mistake.

From now on I’m going to use a writing technique that helped me a lot  when I was in the university. It consist in choosing a subject and then you have to write an essay about it. For example, if you chose to write about a red feather, you can develop a story by telling how the feather got there, and what was doing the bird who lost it, and things like that. The idea is to help you to develop your creativity, but in my case is because I want to improve my English.

So let’s start!

Two red lines

In our universe there are many types of lines. There is a group of thick lines that when you see them you can consider them strong, powerful or maybe they just like to eat a lot of sweetmeats, I’m not judging them.

There’s a group of lines that you can barely see because of their size, they’re short, but nice, and hard workers, they usually bind two words to give them a whole new meaning.  

The next group is seductive, flirtatious, charming, and they don’t need to blink an eye to get your attention because their curved lines speak for themselves.

My favorite line of all is the long line, it can be elegant and full of life when it’s in vertical position, but it can be tricky when it’s between two words and in horizontal position. From time to time it’s curly and gracious, and likes to make a lot of creative and imaginative shapes.

It tends to be positive when it finds another line. It can be red and destructive and negative when it’s alone. Let’s face it, a red line can be intimidating.

A positive it’s not always a good sign if you ask a doctor, but it could be a great thing if you receive it from a teacher. The same applies to the negative sign. You can celebrate if a doctor tells you that you just got negatives in your exams, but it could be catastrophic if it comes from a teacher.

It’s kind of confuse that negative means positive and positive can turn out in a negative thing. One red line on a pregnancy test can be relief for a couple who is not expecting, but two red lines can be glorious for a married couple, and that my friends is exactly what happened last saturday afternoon when my wife got two lines on her pregnancy test. I feel so blessed!!!  I’m going to be a FATHER!!!
