The finding has been in Navarrés, one of the seven towns in the Region of Valencia in which the project Life + Ecoglauca Ergon

New honey found in Europe and millenary in China

A coincidence led the technicians of the European project LIFE + Ecoglauca Ergon against climate change to discover the apiculture possibilities of the tree Paulownia, with which they sought to obtain biomass, and discover a honey not cataloged in Europe but millenarian in China and self-consumption in Australia .

It was Evaristo Pastor, a descendant of a beekeepers' village, who noticed that many bees were entering the flowers of this tree while taking inventory in a Paulownias crop in Navarrés, one of the seven localities of the Region of Valencia in which this European project.

Hallan en Valencia una miel inédita en Europa y milenaria en China

Una casualidad llevó a los técnicos del proyecto europeo LIFE + Ecoglauca Ergon contra el cambio climático a descubrir las posibilidades apícolas del árbol Paulownia, con el que pretendían obtener biomasa, y descubrir una miel no catalogada en Europa pero milenaria en China y de autoconsumo en Australia.

Fue Evaristo Pastor, descendiente de un pueblo de apicultores, quien advirtió que entraban muchas abejas a las flores de este árbol mientras hacía un inventario en un cultivo de Paulownias en Navarrés, una de las siete localidades de la Comunitat Valenciana en los que se ensaya este proyecto europeo.
