Something of Tennessee

To you other weak men and wonderful

Who put so much grace to withdraw from the game

There must be a hand on your shoulder

Pushes you towards life, this soft and light hand "

We all have something in us of Tennessee

This desire prolong the night

This crazy desire to live another life

This dream in us with his own words

Something of Tennessee

This strength which pushes us towards the infinity

There's few love with so much envy

So few love with so much noise

something in us Tennessee

Thus lived Tennessee

The heart in fever and a demolished body

With this tremendous desire of living

This dream in us it was his cry at Him

Something of Tennessee

Like a star which turns off into the night

A time when others are madly in love

Without a burst of voice and without a sound

Without a single love, without a single friend

Thus disappeared Tennessee

At certain hours of the night

When the heart of the city is asleep

It floats feeling like a desire

This dream in us with its words at him

Something of Tennessee

Something of Tennessee

Oh yeah Tennessee

There's something in us of Tennessee.

Something from Tennessee is a song written(1985) by Michel Berger for Johnny Hallyday. It pays tribute to American playwright Tennessee Williams.. He was one of the coolest and gentle guys I met, even if I wasn't a big fan.
