    Job Description

    The Haematology Commercial Associate Director Spain will lead the country Commercial Haematology team and develop a commercial strategy for the Haematology business at the country level. This individual must understand the market landscape and Vertex's position within the market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Developing and implementing the country commercial strategy for the Haematology business in alignment with International Commercial strategic objectives.
    • Leading the commercial haematology field team and understanding value drivers of Vertex, identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
    • Liaising with key physicians and haematology centres to ensure their needs are being met and business is retained.
    • Maintaining an awareness of external factors impacting the Haematology business.

    Requirements:

    • Strong leadership skills with experience in people leadership and the biotech industry dealing with Haematology and/or rare diseases.
    • Proven commercial launch/in-market experience of Cell and Gene Therapy, Haematology or rare diseases.
    • Deep knowledge of the country healthcare market for Gene Therapies, Haematology or rare diseases.

    Working Arrangements:

    This Hybrid-Eligible role offers flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week or on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
