A vacancy for a
Supply Chain Ordering for Services & MRO has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Tablada (Sevilla).


RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Coordinate the placement of Purchase Orders according to the Purchase Request on behalf of the commodity.

Actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost to satisfy customers and launch first level of corrective and preventive actions.


You are in charge of managing contract execution and supplier delivery performance securing a close understanding of planning and ordering for spares and repairs demand.

You play a key role in the coordination of the multiple interfaces between all stakeholders involved in the supplier operations management (like suppliers, projects, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, etc.).

You work closely together with our Commodity Managers, Supply Chain and Quality Manager and the respective Multifunctional Teams.

More in detail, a Supply Manager for ordering is in charge of the following tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assess suppliers during tendering phase and lead the selection decision for those delegated RFQs in spares and repairs according agreement stablished
  • Provide consolidated forecast to suppliers and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity
  • Coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved during the ordering process (commodity, engineering, quality, logistic, repair internal customer, material services center)
  • Daytoday manage the suppliers from demand kickoff to provide all recurrent deliverables:
  • Lead or participate as required to progress meetings, design reviews and production reviews
  • Control demand quality gates, deviation / waiver process, nonconformance process and change process
  • Actively support optimization, innovation and transformation projects within the area
  • Active monitoring & control of demand
  • Be an interface for assessing and reporting the supplier risks and propose mitigation actions
  • Define and implement internal KPIs, reports and dashboards.
  • Support and coordinate with stakeholders for reports in supply chain department
  • Coordinate the recurrent deliverables, implementation and maintenance with the contracted services provider
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations for all deliverables from suppliers, on a day to day basis

SKILLS

  • Educated in an Engineer, Economics degree or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • Knowledge in Ordering, manage stocks, supply chain digital tools
  • Team work and adaptation are a must for this position
  • Strong communication skills including active listening and empathy
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
  • Advanced level in English and Spanish.
  • German or French would be an asset.
