(Junior) UI Technical Artist wanted

B2B contract - long term

100% remote


For our Client, a gaming studio working on a brand-new multiplayer game for PC and consoles, we are looking for a Technical UI Artist.

Your position is a hybrid role between art and programming. Your main responsibility will be to integrate the UI design, with support from their UI Technical Artist. You will be in charge of developing features for UI production pipeline and implementing cool
user interfaces. The role has a significant emphasis on visual quality, technical knowledge, collaboration and creative problem-solving.


YOUR CONTRIBUTION:

  • Implement UI designs which include dynamic layouts, animations and transitions.
  • Provide UI technical support for UI designer and programmers.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and help develop new process flows and tools to
optimize the UI/UX pipeline.

  • Positive attitude and a desire to bring new ideas to the team.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience (12 years) in crafting User Interfaces using Unreal Motion Graphics.
  • Experience in blueprint development.
  • Expertise in UI screen implementation, animations and transitions.
  • A solid understanding of Unreal Engine's UI pipeline, tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of UI/UX production.
  • Knowledge of UI layout development and UI asset optimization.
  • Photoshop expertise.
  • Rendering knowledge.
  • Digital Art background (modelling, shading, lighting, VFX).
