    As a **Solutions Engineer** in the Solutions Engineering team, it is your core responsibility to design the prospect's end-state solution based on Backbase software. It involves educating, designing, and evangelizing. You will be supported by a strong global team of specialists.

    What you'll do

    As a **Senior Solutions Engineer** on the Solutions Engineering team, your aim is to collaborate with prospects in designing their end-state solution. Understanding their challenges and the value they seek to achieve, you propose the most suitable solution. You will play a key role in the Solutions Engineering team (Sales) and the broader Solutions Group, earned through exceptional performance. Articulating technical details in relation to business outcomes, you skillfully translate requirements into distinct solutions.

    Whether you're engaging with the board of directors, department heads, or engineering teams, you have the ability to turn any obstacles into opportunities. If you enjoy traveling and working internationally, you're in for a treat. Given our global operations, you're likely to earn a platinum flying card within a year.

    Joining prospects in exploring Backbase products to help them realize their digital goals. As a proficient expert in digital transformations, you guide through the entire sales process, from in-depth technological discussions and leading proof of concepts to facilitating workshops and gathering feedback. Your exceptional performance leaves a lasting impression on every prospect. And we do expect a little bit more from you.

    Described as having a proactive attitude, you thrive in getting things done. Apart from handling business matters, you are also a delightful conversationalist during coffee breaks. Your organizational skills not only shine in the workplace but also come in handy for planning leisure activities. Considering the demanding nature of the job and the extensive travel involved, we acknowledge the importance of balancing work and relaxation.

    Your role will involve spending time in Italy and the EMEA region. You will be part of a highly driven global team consisting of individuals with shared values. Currently, our team members are spread across cities like Amsterdam, London, Dubai, Atlanta, Boise, Toronto, Singapore, and Sydney.

    Who you are

    • You possess **8+ years** of experience as a (digital) banking consultant for a leading vendor in the industry. Experience in banking, payments, technology, or SaaS is advantageous. However, a proactive attitude is more crucial than extensive experience;
    • You are intelligent, digitally savvy, and exhibit entrepreneurial traits. A collaborative team player with a sense of humor, hands-on approach, and self-motivation, capable of driving progress and meeting deadlines;
    • You are a well-rounded and seasoned consultant with strong analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking abilities;
    • You take pleasure in sharing new concepts and industry insights with customers and colleagues;
    • You understand the high standards required for a successful sales cycle and corresponding outcomes;
    • Your interpersonal and communication skills are robust, ensuring effective customer interactions and collaboration across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones;
    • You possess excellent proficiency in English and Spanish, encompassing speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as a talent for influencing, inspiring, and motivating others;
    • Your expertise in enterprise software architectures, and mobile and web technologies is comprehensive and up to date;
    • You are adept with technologies such as Java, Spring, Angular, iOS, Android, and Kubernetes.
