The following responsibilities will involve regular access to sensitive security areas and systems. They might involve meetings at various client sites in Europe, EC establishments in Brussels, ESA facilities in Noordwijk - ESTEC (The Netherlands) or other European locations, Galileo Control Centers in Fucino (Italy) and Oberpfaffenhoffen (Germany) or other global space program sites (for certain tasks).

  • **Support to Anomaly and Non-Compliance management**
  • **Support to EUSPA secretariat of operational Anomaly Review Boards and Service Requirements Non-Compliance Management Board**
  • **Escalate anomalies and Non-Compliances resulting from operations and potentially affecting EUSPA objectives**
  • **Maintain control over closure plans and recovery actions, ensuring proper implementation into relevant projects**
  • **Conduct trend analysis on Non-Compliances and Anomalies for each segment**
  • **Monitor timely resolution of AR/NCR actions as per contract requirements (KPI monitoring)**
  • **Assist in the Request for Deviations and Waivers management Process**
  • **Track status of Request For Deviation and Waiver submissions to EUSPA, ensuring compliance with EUSPA RFx Management process criteria throughout RFD/RFW life cycle**
  • **Maintain control over EUSPA RFD/RFW Status List and ensure proper maintenance**
  • **Handle Operational Configuration and Asset Management**
  • **Manage changes among as-designed, as-built, and as-operated baselines, ensuring proper control, documentation, and evaluation**
  • **Evaluate Operational Infrastructure Changes Requests resulting from deployment and maintenance activities**
  • **Update Configuration Management and Asset Tracking databases as needed**
  • **Participate in configuration and asset inspections when required and produce inspection reports**
  • **Review operator/Segment provider's Inventory deliveries**
  • **Support Writeoff process and review requests, evaluate, and track implementation**
  • **Participate in meetings related to Operational Configuration and Asset Management and propose process improvements**
  • **Provide general support to Product Assurance and Quality Assurance processes**
  • **Ensure qualification and approval programs under EUSPA responsibility are defined, approved, maintained, and executed in coordination with review management support**
  • **Develop and maintain an audit plan for procurement and development activities, designate suppliers for auditing, and oversee audit schedule**
  • **Provide PA contribution to verification activities, witness qualification tests, and implement audit plan**
  • **Support lessons learned from Service Provision and system exploitation**
  • **Contribute as expert reviewer in milestone reviews**
  • **Assist EUSPA quality officers in maintaining compliance with quality frameworks and standards**
  • **Help maintain EUSPA PA/QA requirements, plans, and statement of compliances**
  • **Must have a Master's degree in Engineering or related field; Bachelor's degree with substantial experience can be considered**
  • **2 to 10 years of relevant work experience in security engineering for classified environments/defense**
  • **Experience in ISO27001/27002 certified environments and COMSEC information**
  • **Expertise required in one or more of the following areas**:
  • **Security Governance and risk management**
  • **Security Audit and implementation**
  • **Service and facility management**
  • **Handling classified documentation (EU, NATO)**
  • **Security accreditation**
  • **Business development**
  • **ISO27001 audit experience is a plus**
  • **Fluency in English, written and spoken**
  • **Eligibility to work and reside in the EU**
  • **Mandatory eligibility for EU Personal Security Clearance**
