Celldrive 3D S.L. arose at the end of 2020 as a spin-off of the University of Valladolid. The company has patented a new technology platform to develop translational bioinks for 3D bioprinting with applications in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

We are looking for a person to participate in the technological development of our products as scientific researcher. With us, you will have the opportunity to be part of a young and dynamic company. The job is fundamentally focused on technical laboratory tasks and 100% on-site work in Boecillo, Valladolid.

Tasks and accountabilities

Reporting directly to the CTO, the candidate will contribute to the development, monitoring, optimization, and validation of advanced bioinks. Among the tasks to be carried out are the following:

• To perform molecular biology techniques such as genetic editing for the design, synthesis, and sequence of recombinant polypeptides, i.e., bacterial transformation, cloning, purification, and analysis of polypeptide sequences
• Bioproduction of recombinant bioinks
• Physical-chemical characterization of bioinks
• Generation of 3D models using CAD software
• 3D bioprinting
• Biocompatibility analysis of bioinks

We offer

• Permanent contract with a 6 month-trial period
• Salary: Negotiable within the range of 30,000 to 35,000 €

Required skills

• Educated to degree level in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical engineering
• PhD in Biosciences or related sciences ( mandatory )
• Experience and expertise in cellular and molecular biology techniques

The candidate must have demonstrable experience in a laboratory environment, and experience in confocal microscopy and animal handling accreditation in category C is a plus. In addition, we value candidates who present:
