- You have a strong background in software development at the hardware level with experience working on device drivers, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and other hardware-level system engineering concepts.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate regularly with a globally distributed team to integrate platform support into the Ubuntu Linux kernel.
- Work closely with silicon vendor partners to diagnose and resolve kernel issues reported by partners, customers, and the community through rigorous testing.
- Owning delivery of distinct silicon-optimised variants of the Ubuntu Linux kernel worldwide.
