Purpose of the Role:
We are currently seeking a Finance professional to join our Treasury team, with a primary focus on Credit and Collections.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Banking & Payments
Perform daily bank checks and register incoming and outgoing payments.
Upload bank statements into the system and carry out regular reconciliations.
Review customer remittance advice and analyze discounts and discrepancies.
Reconcile customer accounts across European entities.
Process customer refunds in a timely and accurate manner.
Customer Master Data Management
Maintain and manage the customer master database.
Create and set up new customer accounts in the system.
Perform in-depth analysis and monthly reviews of payment terms, payment methods, bank
Debt Collection
Monitor and follow up on outstanding debt with external financial and collection providers.
Send final payment reminders and overdue notices to customers.
Maintain direct contact with Key Accounts regarding overdue balances.
Control and analyze customer ageing reports.
Credit Management
Extract and prepare financial reports to support credit analysis across European entities.
Review and approve the release of customer orders in line with established credit policies.
Maintain direct contact and close collaboration with internal departments, including Customer Service, Operations, and regional Sales teams.
Requirements:
Expert in Office Package - mainly Excel.
Fluent in English is a must
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
High problem-solving and resolution capacity
Dynamic professional with strong communication skills.
Experience with SAP (4Hana is a plus)
