Sales Support Specialist – Bid & Proposals Engineer

As a key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepares technical-commercial sales proposals for AMR solutions for international companies in a large variety of sectors (automotive, food & beverage, pharma...)

In this role, your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.

Availability to travel periodically to Burgos for training and internal meetings, as well as occasional visits to clients' facilities is required.

This position is not graded yet as the country still hasn ́t gone through the phase 4 of Global Grading process.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms
• Aiding sales colleagues in specifying optimal, cost-effective solutions to meet customers' needs
• Providing assistance and input in meetings, product presentations and negotiations
• Answering technical queries from engineering teams and delivering vital information to risk reviews
• Studying customers' needs and competitors' offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams

Your background

• More than 3 years of experience in AMR/automation/logistics, working as sales/project management/solution designer with automation technologies in any of the key sectors in the market
• Interest in both technical and commercial topics
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• A degree in engineering
