**About the Role

The Global Demand Planning Senior Director will lead demand planning excellence by driving best in class processes and ways of working to develop unbiased demand led planning.

This role will create the path and orchestrate the roadmap to lead Essity in achieving world class value creating demand forecast enabling robust S&OP and IBP.

What You Will Do

  • Continue to lead the transformation of current processes and ways of working to continue to expand standardized processes across all BUs and geographies.
  • Lead, drive a nd develop the Demand Planning Team based in Barcelona
  • Drive both an operational and strategic agenda acting as a change agent to enable a step change in demand work processes efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be the Voice of demand planning and play an active role in S&OP and longrange planning processes.
  • Develop and lead global demand planning network across all the BU's and geographies.
  • Be the Global Demand Planning Process Owner defining demand planning workprocesses and deploying them consistently across the board.
  • Define and orchestrate IBP roadmap at company level.
  • Define and orchestrate demand planning capabilities growth for all demand planner's community.
  • Lead, implement and continuously improve the statistical forecast methods and generation incl. automation/machine learning.
  • Ensure delivery of an advanced forecasting capability built around robust segmentation, statistical modelling, and selective enrichment processes.
  • Coordinate forecast alignment between statistical forecast and enrichment from BUs/Regions
  • Provide expert guidance in statistical forecasting and overall Demand Planning, sharing best practices and building the required capability in the organization
  • Establish performancebased governance model using common KPIs for Demand Planning.
  • Contribute to endtoend logistics /supply chain strategy

Who You Are**- U niversity degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • International management experience gained through a minimum of 1015 years in S upply Chain leadership roles, ideally in FMCG industr y.
  • S trong change management skills and S upply Chain transformation e xperience with in a matrix organization.
  • S olid S&OP leadership experience.
  • Integrated Business Planning implementation experience is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of Supply Chain/Demand and Forecasting process, related trends and "state of the art" best practices.
  • Excellent communicat ion skills, with solid stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Willing to travel 30% of your time
The position will be based preferably in Sant Joan Despi (Barcelona).
