No problem We welcome individuals with an ordinary degree in Electrical or Electronic engineering or a Level 6 apprenticeship certificate or equivalent to join us and explore the world of marine electrical systems.

• Take charge of maintaining and operating all electrical machinery and equipment onboard, including electronic control systems and the electrical supply for vital operations like lighting, catering, and navigation equipment.
• Share your expertise by supervising and training apprentice electricians onboard, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Play a crucial role in performing electrical isolations to meet operational requirements.
• Be a key member of our emergency response team, ready to respond to any atsea emergencies when called upon.

• Hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or have completed a Level 6 Electrician apprenticeship.
• While experience at sea, whether recreational or professional, is beneficial, it is not required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English language skills.
• EU citizenship or an indefinite visa to remain in Ireland is a must.
• Maintain physical fitness to meet the demands of the job.
