About the role:


The Application Engineer, reporting to the Applications Engineer Supervisor, will give a technical support to the commercial team during the sales process ensuring a successful and aligned execution of the project itself.


  • Technical support to sales managers in customer requests;
  • Define technical proposals through system engineering or cost estimating;
  • Manage quotations from external suppliers, Coesia companies and/or other Volpak departments;
  • Testing the formats and solutions proposed and validate required performance guarantees required by customers;
  • Internal Sales to liaise between customer and internal stakeholders to ensure the correct execution of standard projects.

What you need to be successful:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related;
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role;
  • Previous experience in Packaging Automation Sector or in mechanical engineering roles dealing with pneumatics or cams will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of design software (Autocad, Solidworks or related);
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish language represents a must, other languages will be appreciated;
  • Availability to travel worldwide, especially North America;
  • Will complete the profile: clear and structured communication style, commercial and sales inclination and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
