**Senior Linux Software Engineer Position at Analog Devices**

Analog Devices (ADI) is seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our customer-facing solutions team, supporting a wide range of industry-leading high-performance linear solutions and standard products.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing embedded device drivers and BSPs that interface our products with various embedded processors, including FPGAs. As part of a cross-functional team, the Linux Software Engineer will perform definition, development, implementation, and documentation of device drivers and BSPs.

Key responsibilities include:

Architecting, creating, and maintaining Linux device drivers and software projects for embedded systems, processors, and microcontroller-based platforms.
Collaborating with Linux mainline maintainers to get device drivers accepted.
Working closely with the hardware team to develop new platforms.
Providing technical support through Linux subsystem mailing lists and the ADI Engineer Zone forum.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in embedded Linux device driver design, implementation, and support.
Good experience with one of the following subsystems: IIO, V4L, ALSA, Ethernet.
Demonstrated proficiency in C, C++, shell scripting, and other software development languages.
Experience with SCM (svn, git), cross compiler, and in-circuit debugging tools.
Excellent software design, problem-solving, and analytical debugging skills.
Good understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
Able to work independently and collaboratively to develop innovative solutions.
