This role is responsible of operationally lead and coordination of a group of Network Operators ( Logistics Operators ) enabling that on a daily basis the execution of transport from/to nurseries, growers, coolers, packaging suppliers and end-customers, by achieving highest standards and meeting agreed KPIs (Time-Window Performance, Vehicle Utilization and Total Logistics Cost Management).

What will you perform as Operations Lead?

Responsible for daily transportation (multimodal transportationMainly road transportation) capacity booking with carriers and full end to end responsibility of the Inbound and Outbound Network.

Identify, recommend and support change opportunities for network activities.
Manage the teams output and ensure that this drives to and compliments the overall strategy and business objectives.

Manage the implementation of a re-engineered network solution without affecting production and ensuring KPI's benefit from solution implemented.

Ensure that operation is delivered according to associated ISO documentation, identify and manage the implementation of process change

Operational and disciplinary responsibility over the team of Network Operators, ensuring balanced and efficient workload distribution, being the key contact for issue resolution in both operational and Human Resourcing matters.

Lead Costs investigation / 8D requests related to Route Management ProcessA minimum of 3 years of experience in road transport, warehousing & logistics environment.

Are you reflected in these skills?
A minimum of 3 years of experience leading teams and rotational shifts.

Knowledge of road, air and sea transport operations.

Desirable, within temperature controlled standards and supply chain management.

Experience in implementation of new logistics solutions for new customers

Lead of a team previously

Knowledge of sector customer trends and needs

Requires strong communication / interface skills

English language:
fluent (verbal & written)

Spanish language:
fluent (verbal & written)

French language:
fluent (verbal & written) Desirable

Education:
Logistics studies, Business Administration or similar education (Desirable)

Oracle transport Management Knowledge OTM. (Desirable)
