We are looking for our Head of our Technical Department at our amazing, hotel-with-a-difference in Barcelona

Are you someone with technical talent and a sparkling personality? Are you by any chance also in possession of drive & a great sense of humour?
Then join our team


Together with our Hotel team & Asset management team you will be involved in everything that concerns technical matters, issues and long-term maintenance for our 707-room property, restaurant The Commons and co-working space Collab.


Biggest challenge and WHY do we need you?
You are involved in all maintenance and technical issues in and outside the hotel.

Together with the team of handymen you are the first point of contact for guests and colleagues when an technical issue or malfunction is reported.


What do you do to make that happen?
Every day is different, so you are flexible, skilled and pro-active with a positive attitude.

You conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent problems and liaise with team members and external partners to ensure everything runs super smoothly throughout the hotel.


You lead the team of handymen to ensure consistent quality of our building and facilities for the long-term and proper, timely follow up of issues on short-term.

You coordinate & maintain relations with 3rd parties and subcontractors and keep stock for lamps, furniture-parts, batteries, tools and often used parts.

You have a positive, hands-on approach and handle stressful moments like a pro together with your team. You can juggle a bunch of tasks at once, and love rolling up your sleeves and getting things done. You're all about smooth solutions and enjoy making everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

Independent as well as guiding & training your teammembers, and you always look for ways to make a positive difference in our guests' day.


Background:


  • Background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Decent English and Spanish (other languages are welcome too)
  • Living in or in the vicinity of Barcelona

Important note:
To be a part of our community a work permit is required
