Sr. Manager Development & Automation

Position Purpose


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager to join our team and lead two managers and 12 developers (six developers per team), specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) development and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and execution of BI and RPA initiatives, ensuring the team's success in delivering innovative solutions that enhance our data analytics programs and operational efficiency.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Effectively manage and provide leadership to two teams of six developers (12 in total) led by two managers, by setting clear objectives, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and highperforming work environment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for BI development and RPA initiatives aligned with organizational goals, considering industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple BI and RPA projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, senior leadership, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize projects, and effectively communicate progress, risks, and recommendations.
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure developments cover business requirements.
  • Lead the team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient BI solutions, including data modelling, data integration, reporting, and visualization.
  • Drive the identification, evaluation, and implementation of RPA solutions to automate repetitive and manual processes, optimizing operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Establish metrics, KPIs, and performance monitoring processes to assess the effectiveness of BI and RPA initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team by providing coaching, training, and opportunities for skill development, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and technologies.
  • Definition and orchestration of support framework during back holidays and weekends (whenever needed).
  • Highlight current issues with data within CHEP systems and propose solutions to fix them.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • MBA (desirable).
Experience

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in BI development, RPA, or related fields, including 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of BI concepts, data modelling, data integration, reporting tools, and visualization techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise in RPA technologies, platforms, and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a highly autonomous way.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python), database systems (e.g., SQL Server) and cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS).
