    Mission: Provide expert legal support in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and joint ventures for EDP and its corporate entities. Ensure timely and reliable delivery of value-added legal solutions by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

    Main Accountabilities:

    • Support the Center of Excellence of Legal M&A in EDP to efficiently assist and coordinate all aspects of M&A transactions, joint ventures, and related activities in an international context.
    • Assist in transaction phases, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Process Letter, Non-Binding Offer, Due Diligence, Binding Offer, and transaction documents.
    • Provide risk analysis on legal issues and coordinate project due diligence in an international context.
    • Review, draft, and negotiate transaction documents such as asset purchase agreements, equity purchase and sale agreements, capital contribution agreements, shareholders agreements, and services agreements in an international context.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, including investments and M&A, finance, offshore, energy management, tax, environmental, permitting, and regulatory, to address legal concerns arising from these areas in relation to a potential transaction.
    • Coordinate with external legal advisors in an international context to address any legal issue related to a potential transaction.
    • Communicate legal critical project risk issues to the appropriate members of the legal team or supervisor for resolution and management.

    Required Profile:

    • Qualification: Law Degree
    • Experience: 3-5 years in international law firms or companies
    • Specific requirements: Fluent English and Spanish language skills; speaking Portuguese is a plus
