As part of our company's strategy, we are seeking to strengthen the fraud prevention structure in our Operational Risk Management team.

We have an opening for an Anti-Fraud Officer in our hybrid, flexible, and harmonious work environment.

The main responsibilities for the role would be:

  • Ensure effective implementation of NN Group Fraud Risk Management Standard.
  • Develop and execute a proactive antifraud strategy within NN Spain for effective detection and prevention of fraud.
  • Provide support for investigations of suspected internal and external frauds within NN Spain.
  • Evaluate and assess fraud risks and recommend for mitigation.
  • Monitor any follow up actions resulting from fraud risk assessments.
  • Monitor internal and external fraud cases and report to the management, relevant risk committees Board of Directors.
  • Identify business areas requiring increased fraud controls to protect NN Spain from future fraudulent incidents and support business on developing and implementing controls to detect and prevent fraud.
  • Identify and recommend data driven systems and tools to further improve fraud risk management.
  • Prepare and execute a yearly Anti-Fraud training and awareness plan.
  • Adapt antifraud activity in response to changes in industry regulation & legislation.

Competencies & skills:

  • Analytical (ability to collect and analyze information from a variety of sources).
  • Power of persuasion (push and pull).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or Law.
  • Experience in fraud risk analysis and fraud risk management: a minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is needed.
  • English proficiency required: C1
  • Clear understanding of legal environment.
  • Counterfraud certification, such as CFE, is strongly valued.
  • Experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, or Internal Audit is highly valuable.
