Job functions:

Study of interphases and interfaces on LMBs
Understanding of the degradation mechanisms of lithium metal anodes by advanced characterization techniques
Development of artificial SEI (ASEI)
Electrochemical characterization of LMBs

Area:
Electrochemical energy storage (EES)

DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTITUTION:

PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science or similar. Applications with Doctor of Engineering with specialization in interphases and/or electrochemistry are also welcome
Strong knowledge in interphase analysis on batteries.
Strong knowledge in electrochemistry.
Critical thinker and problem solver with preffered interest in technology transfer.
Expertise on the development of artificial SEIs.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
The following additional experience and skills will be highly valued:_
Expertise in Lithium metal batteries.
Experience in anodeless cell concept development.
Characterization techniques, such as SEM and/or XPS.
A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technical centers, and industries.
