Network Administrator - Contract - IT

Network Administrators are needed for multiple roles with an international IT company. These roles will start in January 2024 following a successful single stage Teams interview in December.
This is an English speaking role which can be worked fully remotely in line with CET working hours.


As Network Administrator you will:

provide operational support as part of the network operations team
cover network related incidents, problems, and user requests resolution
assist with new installations and upgrades
action preventive network tasks (including window maintenance)
create and maintain network related procedures and documentation
review network equipment logs and alerts, and perform any corrective actions
prepare and update technical documentation and configuration templates where needed
provide telephone "stand-by" support outside business hours when required.


You will have:

Good knowledge and experience with networking routing protocols like OSPF and BGP
Good knowledge and experience with networking switching and networking security techniques
Ability to configure, monitor, and support the Cisco ASA and Firepower Firewalls in HA: o Discovery, Access Control, Security Intelligence, NAT, IPSec VPNs, AVC, URL filtering, SSL inspection, Intrusion prevention, Malware filtering
Ability to configure, monitor, and support Cisco AnyConnect with NAC solutions (Cisco ISE or Microsoft NPS)

Ability to configure, monitor, and support network infrastructure based on:
o Cisco ACI or NX-OS switches o Cisco IOS based ISR/ASR routers and Catalyst switches
Ability to configure, monitor, and support F5 LTM load balancers
