Sales Representative, Iberia - Solar PV

Location:
Valencia, Spain


LSP Renewables have partnered with a global leader in inverter manufacturing to recruit a Sales Representative in Spain, to be responsible for outbound and inbound communications with businesses and prospective/existing clients for the purpose of selling products.

Our client have offices in 34 countries worldwide and have their products installed in more than 130 countries. Their products include Solar PV inverters, battery storage, EV charging, and home energy management systems.


Key responsibilities:


  • Cultivate and follow up on business leads
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns
  • Obtains names and contact information of potential customers from sales team, inbound inquiries, and purchased lists
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions via up sell of additional products and/or services
  • Work closely with distributors
  • Schedule sales appointments for field sales representatives
  • Interdepartment communication develops working relationships with other departments and take the lead to resolve issues
  • Consistently provide advanced, courteous and professional sales focused assistance to customers
  • Meet activity based metrics
  • Maintain CRM database with leads and follow up as well as track revenue associated with leads

Requirements:


  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Electrical Technical Degree, Renewable Energy Degree, a plus
  • 13 years relevant experience in inside sales, promotions, telemarketing
  • Ability to reach the right person live decision makers
  • Knowledge of solar industry and related products/services is a plus
  • Ability to influence sales through telemarketing efforts
  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal in Spanish and English, Portuguese
  • Advantage
  • Proven track record in sales results from telemarketing experience
  • Organised, detail orientated
  • Demonstrates high energy, selfmotivation and persistence
  • Experience working for an international organization a plus
