    Our client, a fast-growing open-source software and services vendor is looking for someone to grow their relationships with at least one of their key Financial Services clients that include BNP Paribas, Barclays, Robobank, and Bloomberg.

    The role involves both hunting and farming within the account and the person must be able to navigate across the whole organisation and engage with senior stakeholders.

    Candidates should have experience selling infrastructure solutions (like Red Hat, VMware, Dell Technologies etc) to the Banking / Financial Services space.

    In addition to English secondary languages would also be appreciated (French, German or Spanish).

    The Global Account Manager (GAM) deepens the our clients engagements with large multinational customers (in this case Banks, Insurance companies, and other Financial Services businesses).

    The goal for our global account managers is to ensure that their clients consider their solutions for Hybrid Cloud initiatives and projects.

    We aim to build a significant partnership with the client, both at the executive level and with DevOps and Infrastructure teams.

    The GAM takes a leadership approach to selling, engagement strategy, finding and closing opportunities.

    They are able to think outside the box and can quickly gain trusted advisor status, representing our clients unique value proposition and brand with the customer.

    The successful candidate will have relevant experience and can show examples of building trust with their client. They will demonstrate the ability to form a relationship with that client at all levels of the organisation. They will show public references from previous partnerships with their customer.

    The candidate will be responsible for worldwide account management including the creation and execution of a strategic account plan, meeting and exceeding quota, the ability to build a large account team and prioritize engineering to service the growth of their client.
