WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a ElasticSearch Junior Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to the transformation and continuous evolution of the platforms that supports the SCIB Regulatory and Compliance domain.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

Actively work on software optimization and process efficiency.
Work on the Technical design so solutions can meet the IT reference architecture for Santander C&IB.
Disposition to do what it takes to ensure the team accomplishes its goals.
Contributes towards technical requirements of all the products/features
Understand the business logic so you can propose enhancements to the enduser areas.

EXPERIENCE

2+ years of experience in Sowftware Development business
Fluent in Spanish and in English

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Required:Expertise developing and administrating ElasticSearch (ELK) environments.
-
Required:Sound experience creating efficient Kibana dashboards with focus on huge volumes of data frequently updated
-
Required:ability to transpose end-user needs to smart data visualization with a high degree of satisfaction in terms of user experience.

Nice to have: experience developing Big Data technologies, especially Spark and Scala. Python, JSON API, RDBMS (postgresql, MySQL or MairaDB), Docker, Kafka, Jenkins.
Broad knowledge around Cloud Computing environments.
Exceptional working ethics, critical thinking skills and attention to details.
Ability to work both autonomously and together with a multiskilled distributed team.
Guarantee software quality: continuous integration and test automation.
Agile méthodologies and tools: Jira, Confluence, GIT
Strategical thinking, Innovative attitude to challenge status quo
Communication skills, including High Management.
