House Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees, and overseeing their work to ensure that it is done to a high standard.
• Work closely with the property owners to understand their needs and service preferences, and ensure that all aspects of the property and service are aligned with their expectations.
• Oversee the daily operations of the estate, including scheduling and performing maintenance, housekeeping and repairs, and ensuring that the properties are secure and wellmaintained
• Responsibilities include three homes: in France, Spain, and the UAE. You will travel yearround, spending on average three months in France, the majority of the year in Spain and in the UAE.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, housekeeping and repairs, as well as any other relevant information about the property.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the property, as well as to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the owners and guests.
• Oversee the preparation and management of the estate's budget, ensuring that all expenses are within the approved budget and that costs are minimized where possible.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and within the agreed timelines.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may arise on the property. You should be handy and able to fix maintenance issues as they arise. You will also need to drive to pick up and drop off staff or materials.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people.

• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take initiative.
• Knowledge of home maintenance and repairs.

Employment profile:

Your employment will be Dubai based, with an associated Dubai residency visa and payment in UAE AED.
Associated travel expenses will be covered under your employment.

Our family consists of a husband and wife, one young child in Dubai, one older child in Spain, and an eldest child in the UK.
