• Extensive working wine knowledge (nonnegotiable)
• WSET Level 2, ISG, CMS or SWE certification (one or more required)
• Minimum 2 years' experience of hotel, resort and/or restaurant beverage service operation is required (four stars and above preferred) or one year experience of cruise ship beverage operations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer software skills (Word; Excel; Outlook etc.)
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages would be an advantage
• Spanish, French, Italian or German
• Ability to interact with others in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment
• Extensive knowledge of varying wine and beverage brands, trends and quality
• Knowledge of new and oldworld wines, including food and wine pairing, with the capability to conduct wine tasting sessions for large groups
• The ability to train other members of the Food & Beverage Team on making wine recommendations and on correct service standards

• 6/2 rotations (6 months onboard, followed by 2 months of vacation)
• Shared cabin (with private bathroom facilities)

• WSET Level 2 or similar (required)
