We are looking for the new top talent to join our team as a Business Expansion Manager.

What do we expect from you?
On a technical level it is essential that you have:

  • Proven track record of successfully expanding business operations into new markets, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing international business development teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in crosscultural environments and navigating international business dynamics.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other European language (e.g., French, German, Italian, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe as needed.

What will you do at Sesame?

  • Develop and implement comprehensive expansion strategies for targeted regions in Europe, with a focus on market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new markets in Europe, considering factors such as market size, regulatory environment, competitive landscape, and cultural nuances.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in European markets, including potential clients, partners, industry influencers, and government entities.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Legal, to ensure alignment and support for expansion initiatives.
  • Lead the development of gotomarket plans for new European regions, including pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on expansion progress in Europe, including key milestones, successes, and areas for improvement.
