In this exciting role, Avery Dennison is seeking a results-oriented Account Specialist to join our Team Sports commercial team in Southern Europe.

Reporting to the Strategic Account Manager, this person will play a key role to grow sales within customers that are focused on serving sports leagues and clubs with customized uniforms, fanwear, and licensed sportswear gear and apparel (t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, hats, jackets, and accessories)
in line with marketing strategies to achieve or exceed the annual operating plan for the region.

This position will also support the team by providing accurate and timely reports, trend information and data analysis.

Your Responsibilities
Account Specialist may lead some or all of these daily activities to support the sales team:

  • Daily, you will be supportive of increasing profitable growth by achieving sales objectives within an assigned territory generating sales revenue to existing and new accounts.
  • Liaising with customers to negotiate the terms and conditions, confirm orders, gather additional information as necessary, and keep them informed of progress.
  • Liaising with planning/purchasing to ensure customer orders are prioritized and progressed appropriately and service levels are met.
  • Proactively informing key customers of order/shipment discrepancies and providing the intended resolution plan.
  • Managing the material forecast to support internal site readiness for orders.
  • Proactively identify new accounts using screening techniques, referrals, and prospecting to potential customers within the territory.

Qualifications:


  • Previous knowledge/experience in the retail apparel industry is strongly preferred.
  • Interest in the TeamSports industry will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a must. Italian and Portuguese are a plus.
  • Resident in the Madrid area. Working from home.
  • Own Car and B driving license is a requirement
  • Must be strong at analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize workload.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and internal meetings.
