Our Exciting Opportunity:

As Strategic Product Manager, responsible for the Software Product Architecture, the purpose of the job role is to handle product(s) from strategy to end of life.

Exceeding expectations from the market and improving profitability when appropriate, considering dependencies and prioritizations within Ericsson.

You will:

Supporting Cognitive Optimization and Planning and Design Product Manager
Define SW cloud native components, working with the Product Owner
Driving forward the evaluation of GPR and Ericsson ADP components for adoption in the products
Driving requirements on the evolution of ADP components, both developed by Network Design and Optimization R&D unit or coming from other parts in the organization.
Knowledge of SW deployment using cloudnative principles, telecoms knowledge a bonus
Handson experience with private cloud distributions of OpenStack and Kubernetes certifications such as COA, RH OpenStack Administrator, CKA, CKAD are a +
Handson experience with public cloud hyperscalers administrator/professional or expert level certifications such as AWS Certified, Azure Administrator/Expert, GCP Professional are a +
Proficiency in cloudnative troubleshoot, tools supporting cloudnative operations and release, impact on methods and procedures on cloud vs monolithic.
Support and market portfolio sales and solution
Develop competence and share knowledge
Support the evolution of the product in line with architectural choices needed

To be successful in the role you must have:

Education & Experience: Bachelor or master's degree in Telecoms 7+ years of experience in the Telecoms industry.
Beneficial to have experience in Ericsson internal processes, organization (both Global and Market Areas), and ways of working
Good knowledge of the latest SW technologies (cloudnative, CICD pipelines, machine learning)
Container technology and orchestration (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, etc.)
ML DevOps and pioneering CI/CD tools and processes
Good knowledge of security standards is a plus
Leadership and communication skills
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
Eye for business and Financial Understanding
