Underwriting Assistant Japanese Business - Non-Life

As an Underwriting Assistant for our Japanese Business in Spain, based in our Barcelona office, you will directly report to the Administrative Manager Spain/Italy
Japanese Business and you will perform administrative tasks specific for our core business. You will be key for an efficient Administrative Centre, as well as to comply with the company's objectives and standards.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in managing the portfolio dedicated to Japanese risks in Property, Casualty and Marine
Daily processing of requests from brokers, underwriters and other departments
Issuance of policy documentation (insurance policy, endorsements, renewals, adjustments)
Maintaining the database uptodate
Keying the policy data in the Policy Administrative System
Follow up/maintain the renewal portfolio and related documentation
Invoicing the clients and follow up on overdue and incorrect payments
Guarantee data quality checks
Filing documentation
Meeting monthly deadlines

Requirements:

Previous experience in an administrative role (4 to 7 years)
Proficient in MS Office package
Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English
Catalan and/or Italian will be a plus.
Experience in the nonlife Insurance business, specifically in Casualty is a plus.
