About the Position:

Job Summary


The Financial Analyst Trainee will support and participate in analyzing current and past financial data and performance of the Werfen group.

Among other tasks, he/she will collaborate in the analysis of budgeting vs.

actual data as well as participating in other special projects:


  • Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
  • Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Analysis of metrics and KPI
  • Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation
  • Collaborating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Supporting the supply chain team
  • Supporting the finance Manager in Iberia and Corporate Finance managers
  • Providing financial models and forecasting
Key Accountabilities

  • Support on the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
  • Collaboration on preparing and analying periodic reporting on actual vs. budget data
  • Propose, interprets and presents relevant financial information/analysis for timely and effective decision making; identifying significant issues and success/problem indicators
  • Continually enhances the quality, reliability and responsiveness of the information provided
  • Analysis including:
  • Analysis of expenses, to include benchmarking to budgets
  • Evaluation of cash flow in relation to forecast
  • Active collaboration on the evaluation of the financial impact of strategic and operational actions being considered
  • Spearheads other financial adhoc projects as required
Availability

  • Full time desired / part time might be an option.
  • Minimum of 6 months

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

Required

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • High level of english is required, both spoken and writen.

Valuable

  • Master's in other related field
  • Knowledge of complex concepts, principles and practices of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Windows and mainframe or platformbased software
  • Familiarity with SAP accounting system
  • Other languages
