Your work environment:
We currently have a vacancy for a Shift Manager, based in Sagunto (Valencia, Spain).
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will focus on the production process and implement continuous improvement activities and good practices.
Your mission in Crown:
- Check the status of orders and production to plan design and format changes
- Communicate to the Area Managers any incidents that have occurred since the last shift
- Coordinate the work to be done, paying special attention to anything pending
- Inspect the lines during the shift to ensure compliance with the production schedule and quality as well as issuing maintenance repair bulletins
- Make sure all personnel under your responsibility complies with EHS standards by conveying the content, policies and norms regarding Quality and Food Safety systems
- Supervise and collaborate in carrying out tests, especially of raw materials.
- Examine the problems and deviations that have occurred and take the necessary corrective actions
- Collect data following the established procedures.
About you:
- You have a BA in Industrial Engineering and additional training in Occupational Risk Prevention and Food Safety. Ideally, with a minimum 23 years' experience within the manufacturing sector in a supervisory role acquired ideally in high speed FMCG industries.
- This is a pivotal role in the plant and as such you will require outstanding communication skills to manage communications and feedback to employees and managers alike. A team player, you are process oriented with good supervision, problemsolving and analytical skills
- You demonstrate evidence of working productively and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail and high quality performance
- Besides Spanish, written and spoken English is mandatory, with good organization skills, able to set priorities and keep deadlines. You are a proficient user of MS Office
- We expect you to work with flexibility, on shift pattern, in all lines
